Ulster County resident Tito Nunez-Hernandez, age 32, of Lake Katrine, was charged with six counts of rape on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
According to Ulster Police Department Chief Kyle Berardi, the department received a complaint regarding sexual contact between the two on Thursday, Nov. 7, and began an investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the chief said Nunez-Hernandez was located and taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with six counts of felony rape and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $20,000 cash bail, $40,000 bond to reappear at a later date to answer the charges.
The Ulster Police Department was assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office and the Kingston Police Department.
